Do The Fork Dip

Order your restaurant salads with the dressing on the side. Pouring your own dressing could actually result in adding unnecessary calories to your salad. Instead, dip your fork in the dressing and then skewer a forkful of salad. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how perfectly this works!

Important First Aid Advice

Do NOT move someone who has fallen from a high place.

If they are experiencing back or neck pain, leave them in the position they’re in. If you have to move them, do so in a log roll so that the head, body and legs move all as one unit. This is vitally important so they do not worsen already possible serious injuries.

Social Networking Dos And Don'ts

Go on the offensive.

Clean up your networking profile before you start a job search. Review the pictures you or friends have uploaded, personal information, and any personal blogs or sites you link to.

Shrug It Off

We have an option for how to deal with the everyday irritants of life (late trains, difficult bosses, miscommunications). You can either allow them to make you miserable and possibly ruin your whole day, or you can shrug it off and move on.

Pre-Arrange Your Financing

Avoid car dealership games by arranging your financing before you go shopping for a new car. Apply for a loan at your bank or credit union and go with the best interest rate. Then when at the dealer, you can see if they’ll beat that rate in order to gain your finance business as well.

Broaden Your Search

Don’t rely solely on the internet as a resource for job listings. Local papers, friends, family and acquaintances are helpful as well. Also, contact companies that you’d like to work for. Just because a job isn’t listed doesn’t mean that there aren’t openings.

Have a great day!
